PRSG LogoPeasemore Village Hall, Saturday 18th March, 2-4pm

With ever increasing traffic volumes and more distractions for drivers than ever its hardly surprising that many villagers have raised the issue of safety on Peasemores roads.  We've escaped any serious accidents or injuries so fsar, but it may only be a matter of time before such an incident occurs.

The Peasemore Road Safety Group (PRSG) are having an open event to tell you all about it and let you have your say.

Rather than wait for an accident to happen and after discussions with the Peasemore Parish Council the Peasemore Road Safety Group (PRSG) was formed with the following objective

"For drivers in and around Peasemore to drive always with appropriate consideration and respect for all other road users; to expect and be ready for the unexpected such that incidents and accidents relating to 'driving without due care and attention' simply do not occur"

The PRSG has been developing an action plan to help deliver its objective of reduced speed and increase awareness amongst Peasemore road users.  But this is your village and its important that everyone gets the opportunity to comment on, influence and hopefully be involved with the group.  So we've organised an open event where you'll be able to see what has been done and what is planned, but most importantly you'll be able to contribute, anonymously if you wish, to the programme.

Whether on foot, on horseback, in a car or even tractor, we all use the roads in and around the village.  So, please do drop in to take a moment to think about road safety in Peasemore.
