In response to concerns raised by villagers the Peasemore Parish Council has been working with the local authorities to review the speeds of cars going through the village.

As part of this work the local authority installed 4 speed monitoring boxes for a period which monitored traffic at key points in the village.

In December 2010 West Berkshire Council planning and countryside department carried out a Conservation Area Appraisal for Peasemore which defined conservation areas around Peasemore
